That shot comes from our trip to Wales, and the stone circle in Bridgend. It's a replica of the kinds of circles found in the English countryside that were used by pagan religions as a worship space. The special occasion was the Eisteddfod of Wales, held each year as a local music and poetry festival. I think the plaque on one of the stones said it was to commemorate the first celebration after the great war.
Susan was running each morning, and loved that area near the Rugby fields (yes, I know they are called scrums or something, but they're still open fields, right?)
She's running a lot, and doing great. We aim to take her to a 10-miler this summer. Yeah Susan!
